Once read, you cannot unread…. Utterly utterly boring. Long winded. Full of itself. The characters are boring. Especially the third book. This is not sci-fi. The first book was interesting, at least there was a little space travel! The 2nd book a little less so, the third was a waste of time and I only finished reading it because I had got that far. I found myself just laughing at the ridiculousness of the story and characters, and I figured out the end before finishing the second book. I really wouldn’t recommend, other than to say you’ve read it I suppose. Not even the giant worms could save this story! Don’t know how it’s become some kind of classic, I wish I hadn’t wasted my time.
