Watched this movie on a whim(actually my wife’s!), and we just couldn’t get up before finishing it. The grace and nobility with which Redford and Fonda carried the storyline, leaves the watcher with a deep feeling of love for the characters. As they go through their own trials and tribulations, reflecting on their past throughout the movie, the story never gets boring or monotonous or preachy. As humans we are perfectly imperfect, and we continue to be that way right up to the end, and this movie celebrates that.
