I didn't expect the movie to be so emotional and heartfelt, but I'm happy that was so much of the focus! You still get your high fantasy action and tension but so much of the experience is about relationships, loss, and coping. Its jarringly poignant and personal. As far as fanservice and continuity are concerned, the payoffs for loyal fans masterfully jammed in and are supremely satisfying
