Utter drivel. How are these stories being made into films? If your film is unwatchable, then you've failed to make a film. Also, not horror.

Well it was horrific to watch. Just not in the way a horror movie is supposed to be. An appalling parody of stardom and addiction which was poorly told and badly executed. I think the most horrific thing to have happened to the writer of this drivel is a mixed up pumpkin spiced latte order at Starbucks. NOT HORROR! Unless you count the excruciating boredom. It did end on a rather horrific note. It appears there will be a Smile 3. God Help Us!

The whole premise ruined the movie of what could have been a great quarantine slasher, along the lines of Halloween, Urban Legend or I know what you did Last Summer. Where victims end up isolated, alone and being chased by a killer and where no one will help them. Unfortunately, "woke" signalling gave us this drivel. Watch at your own peril.

The one star is for Joseph Quinn's disturbing portrayal of a corrupt Roman Emperor. The only true talent and shining star in the whole movie. When will Hollywood admit to itself that Pedro Pascal is no better than a poor man's "B" movie actor at best. Mexico's finest doesn't really translate into anything outside of Mexico. Mescal's character was dull and unbelievable with some extremely poor direction and dialogue choices. He also didn't seem to fully understand how to portray his character, which made it feel more like an ancient Rome "Rocky" prequel instead of a Gladiator sequel. Other big names in this movie also failed to impress and the whole thing fails miserably as if produced and written by hacks. The more you watch, the worse it gets. Abysmal and idiotic!

Er....What just happened? I'm not sure how any of this relates to the reputation Section 31 has built up over the years. Are we supposed to believe that this is the Federation's elite, covert, blacks ops branch? Which conducts espionage, biological warfare, prisoner info gathering. Hmmmm! Cause that's not what this is.

It just feels lazy and made for those cusping the spectrum.

Gross is no substitute for actual substance. There are plot holes you can drive a double-decker bus through. It was irritating that in a film which focused so much on gross shock value and made us watch so much tits, arse and fanny, didn't even give us one full frontal of the only naked male in the film. It's also irritating that this could actually have been a decent horror, sci-fi film if it had been made by someone who knew anything about good horror or sci-fi. Better than any of the Terrifier movies but still not great. Watchable for some gross fun if that's your thing along with Ren & Stimpy.

Extremely enjoyable chapter of the John Wick saga. Loved the dog 🐕

My memory of Ghostbusters is of them ghost busting ghosts. I don't remember them having to deal with a 15 year old girl's mood swings and confusion over sexuality.

This film has no idea what it wants to be. Too family friendly for a violent Christmas action movie and too violent for a family friendly Christmas movie. It's as though Home Alone and Love Actually both crashed into, and killed, Die Hard. Prepare to be disappointed as rehashed one liners and Christmas hi-jinx are thrown at you with little to no regard or effect. Truly the lump of coal at the bottom of the Christmas stocking. I'd just throw it straight on to the fire. Ho! Ho! Ho!
