#FixMaddenFranchise. The game is not functional. The game is not a simulation football game. The gameplay is barely updated from the past year. Face of the Franchise is a complete joke in that nothing you do matters for the entire "story" and then you get dumped in the same terrible singleplayer franchise since forever. The main franchise mode has not been touched from last year. Do not buy this game. This game is a pathetic entry in a once-proud franchise. The Yard is fine gameplay wise but it does not affect my score. Madden is the officially licensed simulation football game. The Yard is not simulation football. It is a janky, arcade mode designed to make money via in game microtransactions. There is no other purpose to it other than to compete with a potential NFL 2K arcade style game. No matter how fun it is, it is not what Madden is meant to be. Do not buy this game.

This game completely ruins the first one all in the name of leftist social justice politics. Shame!
