Just beat the story. This is coming from someone that never played the original Mafia game, but I played Mafia 2 before this but never had the chance to play Mafia 3. The voice acting and dialogue is very good, although the story is on the shorter side, so beware of that if you want to play a game with a longer story. Don't be fooled, this isn't gta set in the 30s. The cars handle exactly how you'd imagine for that period, and the map is actually an open world backdrop in a linear game. Luckily, there is a free roam option called "free ride," unlike in Mafia 2 remastered. I will say at times it felt like an old game with how combat can be, and I can tell hangar 13 recycled animations from Mafia 3. For the money though, I had a wonderful experience, and I'd highly recommend this to anyone interested in a good game about the Mafia in America with a good story. Don't expect this to compare with the likes of Gta or Read Dead 2, because you are getting an entire different experience, which is good for differentiation.
