I contacted @cinebeth at KPBS to ask her to review the movie. She said that she wouldn't because the producers didn't have advanced screening. I knew that was a lie, so I called her on it and pointed out that she had reviewed movies that didn't have advanced screenings.
I don't blame @cinebeth for not reviewing the movie. The movie's message is so powerful that, like the trial itself, viewing the movie may result in people changing their minds about abortion: its safety, its justification, and, ultimately, its legality.
@cinebeth's refusal to review was job security. Changing positions on abortion would result in her losing her job at the public broadcaster KPBS.
