The reason Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway is so successful in the UK, is because of the chemistry and true friendship Ant & Dec share. They are sincerely funny and genuine people and don't have to try hard to be great hosts. They share a real friendship and watching them makes you feel like you're one of their inner circle. Chris and Julia fail this on every level. The show was predictable and tried way to hard. Julia's personality simply irritates me, and Chris is there for his looks more than anything else. It felt very scripted and very forced. Not a patch on the original.
