When I first saw the movie come about on Netflix, I immediately ignored it. I decided on a road trip, I'd give it world. While I'm not a CM fan, I think her bubbly personality went over well for this Netflix original film. Her chemistry with the bf didn't go over well, but, I'm to assume that's the point -- to see they weren't on the same page/chemistry lost. Her arriving in a beautiful NZ and the warm welcome amongst the local Kiwi's was great ( the good looking Aussie who became her love interest was a plus). The added cultural Haka by the Maori children was a great touch and I appreciated it was included in the film. And how could I forget Gilbert the Goat, the restaurateur couple, Shelley, and Norm. The story gave me Hallmark movie feels, and I LOVE a good Hallmark movie. Ultimately, I enjoyed the movie and all its little quirks; it made it a heartwarming film to enjoy :-)
