this movie was gut-wrenching. as someone who has watched meth withdrawal, it made me feel the same feelings and more as i did when i watched someone in my own personal life deal with it. beautiful boy was well casted, acted, and portrayed. timothèe chalamet truly is an amazing actor. as everyone who knows me knows, i cry during every single movie/tv show i watch. i’m an extremely empathetic and sensitive person, but this movie. this movie made me feel pain. like physical pain. i sobbed so hard and so much. i had a panic attack basically. plus, drugs and overdoses are a trigger for me (i watched it knowingly, it’s not that big of one but it still triggers panic attacks) but i hyperventilated, sweat, cried, and verbally expressed pain throughout the ending. it truly is a beautiful movie. timothèe is definitely going to be an actor we all need to watch out for and continue supporting and watching. he’s amazing.
