Saiyaara came with a lot of hype, thanks to viral videos of people crying, fainting, and going overboard in theatres.. seriously i mean why ???. Honestly, I think that felt more of a publicity stunt. The story is a soft romantic drama about a young man falling in love with a girl who later turns out to have Alzheimer’s. While the idea is sweet, some parts are hard to believe — like a boy whos young enough and just meets this girl - then instantly gives up his dreams for someone he has barely spent time with , or the heroine disappearing to live in an ashram despite knowing her vulnerable condition. It felt rushed, and the emotional depth wasn’t always convincing. Still, the movie has its moments and is worth a one-time watch if you enjoy romantic Bollywood dramas. Personally i feel there are so many other classics that had handled love and longing with more impact so the unwanted hype and cringe was just bizarre
It’s like few other decent romantic movies you would come across.
I give it 3*** stars 🌟
