This album is thought provoking. It’s layered with a lot of intense tracks that make you feel like you’re in a movie. The lyricism is dark and I’d consider this be a very powerful young female album of 2021. Madison is someone who has worked very hard to explore many genres before trying to create her own and has made a successful debut showcasing her range from electronic, pop, r&b, and even possible country. She really can go in several directions with her music and it’s impressive. The album is an exploration of what goes on inside her mind battling with fame, toxic relationships, Isolation, poor mental health, and the alienation she has felt from the outside world for several years. Even if that doesn’t resonate with you, at the end of the day she takes a lot of pride in her projects and shows more vulnerability than ever with this body of work and the world should applaud that and just enjoy the music regardless if it will be considered her best work. It was years of perfectionism on her end to make sure every song was clean and interesting. The Pisces energy is amazing, it’ll make you cry. Highly recommend.
