Arrow is the first ever superhero show that I’ve been a fan of. I was never a DC fan, or Marvel fan, or even a comic book fan. I became a fan of arrow mostly because of EBR’s character Felicity Smoak. Her wit and intelligence and her role in the show really captures my attention. She caught my attention at season 3 while my son was watching the show, and I was fascinated. I then took it upon myself to familiarize myself with the comic book version of Arrow, and binge watch starting from season 1. Here’s the thing that I love about EBR/Felicity Smoak. She was a character that was built solely for this particular show. She didn’t have a comic book background. There was never a version of her from either the comic book world, or from any shows. She had to build his character on her own. Strong, selfless, loving, loyal, strong and kind. I applaud the writers and producers for not going with the comic book version of Oliver’s true love, and that meant they started this character on their own. Other then that, I’ve become an Arrow fan altogether. The dynamic of the OTA/OG’s is amazing, and I love Felicity’s role in their OTA circle. She’s a breathe of fresh air from all the crime fighting and the ever so depressed Oliver Queen. She brings wit and light and love to the show. Something about her love and loyalty to Oliver resonates with so many of us. I am a fan forever ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🙄
