The film does not subvert from the original narrative. Firstly, this film was an independent film from the get go as it was presented to the indie demographic. Meaning this was made mostly for the niche market; lovers of romance fantasy genre. NOT GONNA LIE, GREAT CAST SELECTION!!! HOTTT Looking into the fact that both main actors are seeming known in their respected countries in the theater, they did their best to portray the characters that were based from the book. Might I add the fact that this film even went to Netflix is because the niche fan base was growing. People were talking loud about it. In my opinion I hope to see a sequel as the niche market would mostly appreciate.
