This is a legitimate complaint about the control room's choice to interrupt and overlap a speaker with footage that is often redundant. I am often rapt by the show's guests and their articulation of topics, but when I am focused on the speaker, a video or still shot dominates the screen and is annoying as it is distracting. Please consider that your audience does not need to have visual aids while listening to expert and informed guests.
