The show is refreshing, and quite true to the original comics, with some good amount of convenient adjustments here and there and some nice additions to the plot so it really shows everyone's character developments, less rushed than the original comic, and I think that's cool. The cliffhanger in the season finale is also a nice touch. I'd give the first season 8.7/10!
