I'm interested in the alphabet i.e. popular letters v their position in the alphabet which led me to silent letters. Many letters are genuinely silent but others appear so because they are part of the rules of spelling that aid reading.
This book ignores the role of letters that aid pronunciation eg. orange needs the e to shape its pronunciation.

A shame that women are the 'horrors' in this series. Australia's treatment of Aborigines and refugees has made me ashamed to be Australian. I'm not sure I will watch Cate Blanchett and Asher whatever in anything again. Expose the real people - a female bias in your characterisation is such a travesty
