Mr. Pitt makes great use of understatement.

This film is an original, a one-of-a-kind horror film within a typical high school social horror scene, and features the best wiseass, yet at times deft and piercing dialogue yet written for the genre. The interplay between characters subtly draws us in even while the action becomes more and more ridiculous. A teacher tells a repeat smart guy 'you'll be sucking my toes the rest of the year', after she shoves her fist somewhere far personal. You have to hear it to believe it. Filled with youthful stars aplenty, like a dozen. One of them could be you.
