Honestly? As a girl who just left their freshman year, there are many relatable aspects. The part that hit the hardest for me was the sibling dynamic and how it changes after they leave for college. I'm the youngest of 4 and all my siblings range from 4-9 years older than me, so I get what this feels like. The author really grasped how it feels to be forgotten and growing distant from those you could always count on. I'd say I am quite the angry girl myself so this book hit hard. Maybe my freshmen year wasn't quite as exciting or contained so much drama with upperclassman ( in my experience they don't care about underclassmen), but underneath all the exaggeration, it really holds truth and hits hard.
