Just watched the entire series of Voices of fire and there were only a few moments that I only liked the singing. As a Christian, this series was too focused on how this choir could profit Pharrell and not give God the praise. The Bishop was too worldly for me. Sitting on a throne like chair, a white Jesus on the window when the Bible clearly states, Do not make any graven images of me. Also the lady with the white wigs they called the Queen was doing too much. There were definitely some talented singers, but were they really paying attention to the tone of the voices, harmonies and richness of the peoples voice or were they putting on a good show for ratings?? The one moment that touched my heart is when Daniela sang Jesus loves me.. that always touches my soul because it's the truth. Other than that, the series was too much theatrics instead of the real purpose and that's to show God praise and find solid Gospel singers for a choir.
