The old man at the end who said he was Barbie's son and that he was glad Barbie had been hanged...1. I 'm pretty sure Barbie's son died in an accident when he was younger ( and Barbie had only one son plus the daughter) and 2. Barbie never was hanged. He died of cancer in a French prison at an advanced age. The US gov't somehow got a hold of Barbie after the war and used him as a spy against the Russians and also in the French sector of Berlin against possible Russian infiltrators. France wanted to try Barbie and imprison him ( maybe France did not have the death penalty?) and they may have tried him but somehow the US enabled Barbie to flee to Bolivia where he lived with his family and at some point he orchestrated a coup in Bolivia. But when the coup was overthrown, Bolivia turned Barbie over to France where he was imprisoned and after several years died in prison. I really question the producers of "Resistance" for where they found that old man. It casts a bad light on the film.
