This is a compelling play, where the illusion is how you see yourself. DelGaudio is so vulnerable that you let your guard down enough to participate emotionally. There are obviously magic tricks, but they are part of the story, and move it along (like instead of songs in a dramatic musical). It provides an entertaining and satisfying experience.
