Beautiful, meditative and timeless. The past, present and future in one moment. Odd romantic subplot when the leading characters were far more interesting. Even that flaw can't detract from the lushness of the cinematography. Bravo to the film makers.

Google has asked me if I have seen this film. I haven't but the film imagines a world without The Beatles so I shall imagine I am in a world where I have seen the film. I can confirm that, 'like The Beatles themselves, Yesterday is original, ground breaking and has a cultural impact that resonates down the generations.' And that's just the song....
