I do like this show VERY MUCH. It is one of my very favorite on HGTV....because, among many other reasons, Ben and Erin do not continuously just tear down walls to make an "open concept," because "open concept" is what is, supposedly, trendy now. That is not always the way to go. I get so tired of seeing and hearing about "open concept," "open concept," as if that is the only way to go. Sometimes it is appropriate but it is over-rated and over-used. I like Ben and Erin as people and their choices in design, and the custom furniture Ben makes. Also, they DO keep the historic integrity of houses as much as possible. A fun, pleasant, entertaining show to watch, with nice people.
