It is a slow grind which gets you in the last 45 minutes. King Hale's position as a ban of power could have been better detailed early on. How did he become that ? Di Caprio has done a different rohe very well. A good period film.

An engaging thriller, with a few curve balls. Loved the acting.

Thalaivi....Nalla Padam. Arvind Swamy as MGR walks away with all honours like the real MGR. Many touching scenes included and they all seem believable. Kangana pulls off for a better part, though with scant resemblance to JJ. But sodhappify a few times by saying Emjeyaar instead of Emgeeyaar. Shoban Babu is totally absent. Part 2 will be coming soon, I think, showing JJ's reign as CM and subsequent life. The Sasikala (very brief appearance in this movie) Masala should be interesting in the second part, I hope. Very engaging movie over all. Great effort. Well done, Team.

Quite an entertaining movie for the holiday season. Moves at a good pace with some tricky twists. Not a whodunit, but a howdunit, which is more intriguing. Some premises stretch the imagination, but hey, leave the imagining to the movie maker and just enjoy the fare. I did.
