This is a wonderful series. The show explores real issues and real people. It is as relevant today as it was back in the late fifties and sixties when the stories take place. The characters are all interesting and well developed and they continue to grow as the series continues. While it is sad to lose cherished cherished characters, the story goes on as new people and stories are added. I really enjoy this series and I am waiting rather impatiently for season 9 to begin on Netflix.
