CCV A plot struggling to tell a clichéd story of power struggle in a family after the head of the family dies. To begin with, the story was straight forward, nothing suprising alarmingly! Too many characters in the film trying to justify the drama that's happening! Some characters were written just to be killed and to provoke the main character's anger and it was evident. All that said and done, the performance of each of the actors were great! But during the travel of the film the story and plot neither gives space or scope for the audience to fall in love nor hate any of the characters as they are not explored in depth due to time constraints. The first half was interesting, however the second slows down the narration very badly. I really have to point out, Jothika's character build up was excellent and her acting really stood out, but there is disappointment at the later point of the story even for that character. As usual Vijay Sethupathi's performance was just flawless. Aravind Swami's character had more scope to attract audience, however the plot doesn't allow us to explore it. The same goes to Arun Vijay's and Simbu's performance ! Over all it was a disappointing movie running on no emotions.
