Why kill off the partner? Anyway, Mare is a self centered, rude, not too smart a detective. I mean she gets her partner killed and more than once she's impulsive and gets herself in trouble. I guess it all makes her human, but no one will relate to a bad cop, especially these days. I watched it because there was nothing else on.
