Glad I found this show, it is quite entertaining without any vulgarity or inappropriate material. It's hard to tell just how much experience these actors have but they do a great job. Great comedic writers and costume designers make all the difference in the world and finally, you can tell that all of the cast members work very well with each other and really enjoy what they do. They remind of the high school kids who you just knew were full of talent and all they wanted to do was to make people laugh. It's not a complicated production with huge funding, in fact the show reminds me of pop corn, mac and cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or maybe SPAM. Simple yet undeniably enjoyable. I highly recommend this show, it's one that you can't go wrong with.

The Oz, much like the Sopranos is show that is not afraid to show the reality of of life that most are not aware of the deep interaction of people who we know only on the surface. Granted that much of the violence is very graphic but never the less an important part of the show that truly emphasize the story and the drama. This fictional show does represent the penitentiary system and yes, not all is accurate but the flaws does not in any way hinder the superb writing and the acting skills that make The Oz a fantastic adult show. With actors Ernie Hudson (Ghost Busters) Rita Morno (1970's Electic Co.) Eddie Falco (Sopranos) and J.K Simmons (Spider Man) and many other talented casts makes this show very intense and emotional to both sides of the roles. The Oz takes us into the Oswald state penitentiary where violent criminals will do just about anything to support drug habits, engage in racial and homosexual inmates, and most of all, stay alive. This show truly knows how to approach the audience's emotions with intrigued characters and realistic drama so put away the shank and the shiv, pop some corn and watch this show. If your a big fan of the "Orange is the new black, you might really enjoy this male version of the show.

You know that old saying "You've seen one, you've seen them all." The only difference is that Adam Sandler is now the son of Satin and the familiar cast just pretty much play around him. Nothing new or memorable so it's kind of movie you can play in the background while cleaning the house.

We've all watch a movie about history and shouted out "That never happened" or "That's not how it happened!". But when it comes to this movie and you see the name "Mel Brooks" who the hell cares! You will be too busy laughing. Brilliant, smart, stupid (Beyond reasons), many parts accurate (according to...) it doesn't matter. This is just one many of his movies that from start to finish it is absolutely entertaining and may come away with some history lessons. I have seen this movie many times and always find new jokes that either slipped by me or did not understand. Great casts (Including men's hero Hugh Hefner) fantastic hilarity and great movie for those who have a short attention spans.

The first time I had heard about this movie I thought that it was going to be another "Saving Private Ryan" because operation "Overlord" was what the attack of D day was called. After seeing the the trailer, clearly this was not it. It was certainly entertaining for what it was, taking the concept of what the German doctors were really doing to prisoners and turn it into science fiction horror. I have to admit I started to laugh when the dead came back to life and thought this could have been a great concept for all those damn zombie movies with at least a somewhat of a plausible story. All together not a bad movie, not that I could have done any better but definitely ranks right up there in the horror movies.

This is definitely one of those underrated film that is absolutely funny. Teri Garr's Character is a single mother who has two uncontrollable children thanks to her crazy aunt (Shirley Maclaine) who was once a circus magician. This alone is just comical and makes her so damn charming. Near desperation and at her wits end, she has inherited roadside cafe that hopes to bring a promising future but sadly it is in poor condition and going to take a lot more than elbow grease to get it up and running. To make matters worse, her new neighbor (Vincent Schiavelli,"Ghost") has somewhat of mean streak in him and does not tolerate her two children and disciplines them after they go onto his property. This does not bode well for the aunt and she and the children decides to take matters in there own hands by playing what is suppose to be a scary prank but instead goes in the opposite direction and now he becomes a changed man.

First time I saw this movie I did know that it was based on a true story and really laughed at the premise the of all countries to enter for Bobsled Jamaica would not even be possible. through out the movie I kept thinking that John Candy(truly one of the nicest human being without a single mean bone in him) was going to be like one of John Hugh's character. Turns out that I was completely wrong and presently surprised. Warm, charming, and with subtle humor. Before I go any further, do not look into the real Jamaican bobsled team, they were not anything like their fictional characters were in the movie. So just enjoy the movie for what is. Disney did a great at making this movie so enjoy!

Much like the show "Bosom Buddies" where guys dress up as women, there is only so much this gag can do for humor before it just starts to lose it's novelty. It not one of Dustin Hoffman's best performance but certainly not his worst either. His character, Michael Dorsey is the typical struggling actor in New York City who has overbearing habit of annoying directors and thus explains his absence of work. His room mate Jeff (Bill Murray) is the comic relief and he does it very well without being his usual annoying humor. I've seen him many times at the Minnesota's Saint baseball game that he is part owner of and that is pretty much him. Then there is Sandy (Terri Garr) overemotional wannabe actress and friend who saves Michael's career by bombing her audition. Throughout the movie she is somewhat likable and funny. Gina Davis's character is overlooked as she interacts with Dorthy Michaels. One actor who is definitely typed caste and plays the same character both in movies and TV shows is Dabney Coleman. When I saw the movie 9 to 5, I swear that it was same character in Tootsie. Than he did this god awful 80's TV show and again, the same character. Did this ever do a character that was totally different? Jessica Lange is great actress but did not show it in this movie, It was almost like you could tell she just did not want to be there. One my favorite character was her dad played by Ned Beatty, low key man who was looking for affection from another woman since his wife had passed away. Needless to say you could see it coming and all you can say is "That poor man." The highlights of the comedy has to go to George (Sydney Pollack) for his hilarious over the top agent on the brink of having a heart attack every time he encounters Michael. It is an enjoyable movie if you do not have any expectation.

I was very young when I first saw this show and what i got out of it was to see two grown men changing in and out of women's clothing and finding to be funny to my juvenile humor. I just recently acquired the full two seasons of the show and boy did I miss out on a lot great comedy. Not that it was up there with Cheers, The Simpsons, or my dumb favorite Hogans heroes. One can definitely tell that both Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari must have had a lot fun doing this show along with Hollond Taylor who I personally thought was the funniest character on the show. Her over the top personality just made all worth watching her. One of my favorite line she had was "It was so cold that a flasher just handed me a photo of himself." Many nights all I could think of was Donna Dixon in the pilot show undressing and let me tell you, even Wonder Women could not compare (Wow! why was there no poster of that) I guess you can only do so many jokes about two men dressing up as women and god knows that another show tried and failed (Ask Harriet).

This is definitely not your typical gangster movie, it is more of a quintessential drama between father and son growing up in the Bronx and getting a lesson in life. It has that stage play theater feeling morphed into live action movie in a good way. The Quality of the story is certainly there but seems to lack the sense of that heartfelt feeling that makes it hard to relate to the character's emotional experiences. Example in the movie "Good Fellas" there is that satisfaction and yet painful moment when "Tommy" (Joe Pesci) is shot. In Bronx tale the three main characters roles seem to clash with one another and therefor makes hard to side who is right. Father figure obviously takes the lead but there are some lessons that require to see it from another perspective. Calogero is young boy who witnesses a murder and his father tries to explain to him that we must do the "Right thing". That is a lesson that has consequences from both sides. There is also some great humor that takes place but mostly we see the struggles and hard lessons that he makes as he grows up. It is a very enjoyable movie to watch and in many ways relate-able.
