Overall, I was pleasantly surprised as far as what I was originally expecting. They do a good job of carrying an overused plotline of high school sports. Stamos does a terrific job in his role, and the overall cinematography is great. However, the show could probably do without the excessive cross countering plot lines of the different characters all at the same time. Some scenarios are a bit overacted by some of the younger members. I also think the show could’ve catered to a larger audience if they didn’t over reference current day trends (tiktok, boomerang, etc), which sometimes is quite cringeworthy. The show would probably stay more timeless for the future if they dialled back on some of those. All-in-all, the show is enjoyable enough to follow along, but don’t think it’ll be hailed as a Disney classic anytime soon.
