A superb duet! Scheider is the emotionally constipated shrink and Streep the neurotic damsel in distress who breaks through to him. She never looked lovelier and he's a terrific lowkey hero in tweed. Very NYC.

Droll and full of the Ustinov wit. Wonderful costumes, English countryside and Castle Howard. David Niven plays himself and saves the day and Sophia was never more beautiful, whether age 18 or 80.

Boring. On it's own, boring - that Hamlisch score? 3rd rate talent? Compared to the whiz bang artistry of "All That Jazz", why even bother with this lame show pony? Boring the first time I saw it in a theater and boring on a snowy afternoon, 20 yrs later.

Felt like I spent my own summer in the Hamptons after binging all 8 seasons in a week. Lovely to look at. I wondered where Divya got her never ending new wardrobe once her father cut her off - I guess not paying rent kept her wardrobe fresh!

Have watched many times over 30 years. As gripping and moving now as the first time. I live in NC, can tell instantly this wasn't filmed in upstate New York but it's very beautifully shot in this more southern part of the colonial world. Terrific, passionate, fully clothed love scenes.

The mysteries are cozies, although there's murder and a bit of blood. Filmed around Stratford upon Avon, so it's truly beautiful viewing even if the puzzles aren't very challenging. Comfortable, huggable lead characters, too.
