The greatest game that ever was is still the 1997 release, but this is still incredible

The physics are terrible, I tried to get used to it and played for a few weeks, but still it’s impossible to avoid constant crashing. Why play a game where I have to drive 15 mph through an off road dirt trail when I can do that in real life. It’s not fun or exciting, just frustrating. AI drivers go on the attack in an unrealistic way. Also the roads are way too narrow. The Subaru wrx is in fact wider than the lanes of the roads. Sound options only allow for engine noise to be turned down to 50%, which is still too loud to comfortably listen to my background music. Not to mention engine noise fluctuated seemingly at random to the occasional random roar. This game could have been very good but a few flaws that should have been very obvious make it a real pain and no joy to play.
