A faithful reimagining that stays true to the original vision of the first game. This is something fans of the franchise have been wanting ever since the early 00s and the wait here seems to have paid off. Some people are no doubt angry about the game being split into multiple parts and that's understandable. I, myself, do mot mind this as the remake has around the same playtime as the original. Would I have liked more story and some longer playtime? You bet. Does that take away from the work done so far? Certainly not. If playing through episodic releases isn't for you I would recommend waiting until after all episodes are released until purchasing.
