Not one hook, although I watched all of it. Not one likeable character. There were all of bunch of dingbats. Kevin Bacon, you "still got it going", always believed in you and wished you success. The female lead, whatshername, I never liked her and never felt she had charisma, wondered how she stayed around so long. Jose did a good job and I guess I liked his character best. Just wanted to huge him. Yes, people fall from grace, but she surely got on that ferry tout suite. Where's the money! Really, such a farce and all so silly. Glad it is over.

Not for me, but others might enjoy. The title was prosaic. Could have been called "Fishes Falling From the Sea", more creative. No hook for me to keep me interested. Did not connect with any character except Estrella, and she was gone too soon. What joy and energy she, her, character possessed. Excellent acting by all. Very noirish, resplendent of the 1940s, Barbara Stanwych and Fred McMurray. Part of the musical score from that era. I was waiting for Bette Davis to come forth. I did some fast-forward and did not watch any of the rape scenes. The episodes went on way too long; and 4 episodes would have been enough. It was too much about nothing. It was, actually funny, is some of the scenes people were going to be killed, yet the bad guys work face coverings and even at night. If you are going to wack someone they are not going to live to identify you, so why cover your face and head.

I recommend highly. It somehow resonates with me, its warm and inviting plot. Great acting by all. My fav was Eric Bana. In order for me watch any series/movie there has to be someone likeable who is my hook. Enters Eric Bana. Enjoyed seeing Sam Neil again. He is a Brit and in speaking American English he only had one goof that I caught. He spoke "can" with a Brit accent. The cinematograpy was outstanding as well as the subdued musical score.

The "love dance" between main characters was silly and odd and downright juvenile. Sorry, although, generally I enjoyed the movie. The musical score was outstanding. I look forward to Season 2. Good to see Brolin still working.

I loved this and was captivated. The musical score was fab and some portions of it had to have been "lifted" from The Last of the Mohicans. I was expecting to see Daniel Day Lewis appear at any time. Was that plagarizing, or what? I wonder if movies have ever been accused of that. Disappointed there is not a second season.

Since I watched it through to the end......It was Good! I recommend and enjoyed!

Considering some much of the trash Netflix puts out, I have to give this a good rating. It was confusing and disjointed and I gave up trying to figure out who was who. My fav character was Gabriella, but she died in the first 10 minutes. They should have brought her back in more flashbacks. Nice scenery and musical score. I recommend.

I really got caught up in this movie because I liked almost all of the characters; they had charisma whatever that is. LOL When it was over, I had a hard time letting go because I did not like the ending. 1. I wanted the baby boy to be left behind with Emma and the Sheriff. 2. I wanted Chee and Bernadette to get together. I am SURE these two things will be rectified in Season 3. I was surprised the writers would let the Sheriff leave the bad guy in the desert to die. Guessing, he will be found alive in Season 3. My fav three actors were Zahn, Emma and Chee.

Totally unrealistic. This seasoned detective never once asked for a photo of Ripley, or Greenleaf??? Now, come on. The crime/s could have been solved in 5 minutes. Duh. The writers thought they could dance around that issue? Loose ends have to be tied up to be believable. But, the other issue was the writers trying to convince us Ripley was going to continue to live the live of the Rich and Famous. How, and on who's money? The Dad would have dismantled the trust fund as soon as he found out Dickie was dead. Duh. This was a silly movie and a waste of my time. The actors all did good jobs.
