Ignore what the critics say about this movie. I’m a huge fan of Timothy Spall and watched this just for him but O...M...G... what a show stopping performance from Vanessa Redgrave as the oppressive, bully Mrs Lowry.
A cute movie with some dark humour but so beautifully performed by two of the finest in the business. I was glued to the screen throughout and it made me look up other movies with Venessa Redgrave in.
