Here is my honest review of the show that I have been a fan of since the beginning without spoilers. The plot of the show is solid each season and blending well into the next one, but there are still some plot holes and that happens with most shows so understandable for a few bad writings. Each season starts with new aspects, characters, dramas, etc. that would focus on side characters rather than the Flash himself, but that’s the beauty of the show in my opinion because it has a diversity of characters which creates tension and curiosity for us, the audience, to keep tuning in to watch the journey of our favorite characters of how he or she be a part in the Flash’s journey. It is a new way to watch the Flash’s life but through a different perspective instead of only focusing on Barry Allen’s viewpoint only. There are five seasons so far and the sixth one is coming later in Fall of 2019. Season one and two were terrific. Season three was good but there was plot holes here and there. Season four took a turn because it was trying to target a different type of villain but the plot was a bit slow then rushed toward the end but it was a great setup for season five. The fifth season has new dramas and new roles that the Flash has to tackle. Season five is also very confusing but there are clear explanations for each confusion so we can stay on track. It also succeeded at building the entire season into a bigger picture at the end with a plot twist and leave a cliffhanger for an important event for the next season in the finale. Overall, the show “The Flash” has its ups and downs but mostly it is an interesting show with addictive storyline and characters’ development. Most importantly, it is very entertaining for the audience to just take our mind off our for a little bit and put on a hero cape or in this case, a red super suit for a tiny bit.
