The whole show is so much more than just a couple people falling in love. It’s not just Ginny and Marcus or Georgia and Paul. The show speaks about trauma, about abuse, self-harm.
Sure some parts are cringe like Marcus and his acting (I love his character and the concept, but the acting is questionable). However, the rest of the show is quite beautiful. There is, as per Netflix show, the token LGBT+ character. There might be a couple more, but only one is part of the main “group”. I guess it’s not inherently a bad thing, but there’s no other mention about LGBT individuals (to my knowledge but my attention span is quite small lmao)
The show turns out to have a lot of twists and surprising plot lines. 100% recommend to almost anyone. Watch it and give this show some love purely for the empowerment aspects of it.
