Well to be honest its not really fair to comment on the show as a whole since its been around since 1963 and over years has been under the supervision many many Show Runner, directors, writers and actors. However, speaking specifically about the era of 9,10,11 and 12th Doctor. Its amazing. Of course most of the episodes deal with stopping powerful aliens, but the show hardly ever relies on the "Bigger threat Bigger gun" trope. instead the Doctor uses his wit, intelligence and wisdom. The intellence allows him to deal with the cool sifi part of the show, but his wisdom is heart moving at times. for example "900 years of time and space and ive never met anyone who wasn't important." 11th Doctor. the story telling is awesome. are there better shows out there? Yes, but that doesnt make this one any less good. its memorable and beautiful. definitely worth your time and if youre paying then yeah, its worth that too. no i did not include the 13th Doctor Jodie Whittaker (i think i spelt the name wrong) , no im not being sexist, i have nothing againt the actor. But the show runner Chibnill( i dont care if i spelt the name wrong) needs to be replaced ASAP, with someone who will undo all the damage he has done to the show. because of him. the 13th Doctor's first season is really not that fun to watch.
