No. Just no. The devil is in the details. Upstate New York in November, the deciduous trees are completely bare, there are no flowers blooming, people are not driving about with their windows down. Unless they're drunk.
And the cars. They're pretty much all wrong, surprised they didn't have a Mazda in there. You gonna do a period piece, get the iron right. At Joe Banana's house there's a '56 Chev with chromed headlights, mild custom. Not sure if rodding had made its way to the wilds of NY by '58, but even if it had and even if chromed headlights were available back then, no rodder would have the scratch for a 3 year old car. The cop sits in his car and leafs through a magazine...1956 Car of the Year...in November '57. At the meet, one of the Big Bosses rolls up in a '49 Merc, DeSoto grill, shaved taillights. No freaking way.
