Finally a movie to be excited about & remain excited watching it My Favorite film style camp killer horror Friday the 13th (camp masked slasher) & Scream (whodunit mystery) & Scary Movie (comedy) rolled in one Whatever weakness there may be in the script is overlooked by the wit, slight gore & actual concern for who will survive

Showcases Philip Rhee as one of our Best & most entertaining martial artists of the 90s much like Bruce Lee films This film wouldn't work without Rhee's precise martial arts skills to keeps your eyes fixed on him

Surprisingly entertaining within the plot of a single cramped space film because they have a very good lead actor that causes you to care what happens to him next

Junk by the time the film comes to the end of its quick runtime, it feels like nothing much has actually happened worthwhile despite all the narrative psychological dialogue

Wesley Snipes stands out in this perfect low budget action vehicle to introduce his awesome martial arts skills pre-Blade which is the draw for this film, & also the awesome Stanley Clark soundtrack is funky with the Director Kevin Hooks of TVs "White Shadow" fame opening the door to a new era of mainstream Black Directed action films before F Gary Gray & Antoine Fuqua

Good actors trying to choose Oscar material in what is common in many foreign films a slow moving subtle dilemma very boring uncaptivating film you're waiting for it to build.... into nothing too redundant & extremely long only to leave you hanging in the end So it's a time waster If you don't care or like it by the 1st hour it really doesn't get any better or more revealing so walk out

They threw this bad movie together bcus they know everbody keep going to see this dead franchise bcus of the name "purge" guaranteed millions like the Friday the 13th franchise they'll stop when you stop going to see it they don't care about bad reviews just millions of dollars
