When is honesty too honest? What is honesty? Do people actually want honesty or do they want to feel good?
In this book, the author might be the most brutally honest person I've read about. You will cringe at some of the things he did but that's the point. He was honest to a fault.
We all say we want honesty. But when presented with someone like the author many shun this approach.
Why?
Because it's uncomfortable.
The entire book is about discovering honesty and how it applies to different situations.
Sometimes a beautiful lie is appreciated more than an unpleasant truth.
Great book. Made me rethink about my values and how honesty can be destructive in some ways.
