Definitely an interesting watch especially if you're like me and often feel nostalgic about an era that you never even lived. The storyline is good but at times it gets a little boring I found myself reaching for my phone and playing the cooking diaries to pass the time while the bad acting and boring dialogue passed over. Linda is one of those characters that you develop mixed feelings for, she's not one of those " you either love it or hate it character", I actually felt both!!. She can get very overwhelming at times, it was like she was all over the place I couldn't keep up but there were times were you felt like you could relate to her and you almost envied her ability to go after what she wanted consequences be damm, I think everyone who has ever long for that kind of love that takes your breath away secretly wishes they could do the same but the truth is in the end probably 90% of Us are little bit more like Fanny, always trying to do the right thing by society standards all the while silencing that Lion that lives inside of Us and yearns to get out. I think Fanny's character was beautifully played and she definitely was not the plane jane the show apparently intended her to be as I found her to be quite interesting if not the most interesting character in the show. My conclusion... Take the time to watch this show, in the end you won't regret it and contrary to what some viewers perceived to be a dull ending claiming there wasn't enough sobbing or hysteria towards the end, I strongly disagree. There was no need for tears to understand what their faces expressed so very well, they were heartbroken it was as if a light had died inside of them and now everything was dark. I felt that pain and I found myself crying for Linda as if I too had known her and even though her character was completely fictional I understood the sadness in their eyes and what a painful thing it must of been to have known Linda and suddenly realizing you would never hear her laugh again 😔.
