I think it is a good book with not one but so many lessons at the same time . I personally feel ditto as dimple fundamentally but career wise I'm more like Rishi So I enjoyed their company It lets u question so many things to urself( life is really unpredictable, kismet,who's going to be ur love interest and many more) U can find a bit of the things irksome like behaviour of dimples mom but I guess is what the character is spun as by the author. Just bcs u can't relate her to ur mother doesn't mean such PPL doesn't exist . It is how a rom book should be . Just go for it.
