Solid acting it is 8 episodes but each episode moves the plot forward and gives more insight to the characters; no meaningless or filler episode. The ending is solid and tie it all up nicely. A must watch for apple TV subscriber heavily recommended.

Must watch on Netflix. These definitely one of the best criminal thriller in Netflix. There's no filler no additional unimportant drama and side stories. Great build up great satisfying ending with a little bit open ended impretation for us. But I think this series will be not zoomers / gen z friendly. You need to focus and follow the story minute by minute or you will miss something, they manage to pack the story in just 6 episodes. I don't read the original novel it is based so I don't know how accurate it is but I think they really do a good job considering it's only 6 episodes.

Highly recommended if you are into metroidvania this one is a no brainer. for those first timer diving into the Metroid world be forewarned it is not an easy game, you will die tens or hundreds of time. I manage to finish this because I have experience playing hard games, I finished games like hollow knight and ender lilies, those game have brutal enemies and boss fights, so when I play this It feels like home. The game is fast faced and the counter system is back. I think those who hate this counter system before will hate it even more haha. The counter is more integral than ever, some bosses need you to perfectly counter to finish them. so no choice but to "Get Good" and master the counter timing; without it you can't progress. The graphics and sound are great for switch, the FPS is pretty stable at 60 FPS with some and pretty rare frame dips in some scenes. The power ups are quite familiar with a couple of new ones. nothing really stands out. The stealth mechanic is okay and it is not too repetitive and frustrating. you can counter the EMMI if you can learn the timing. The exploration is good but the map structure can be (and designed to be) very confusing, I keep on pressing the map button throughout the game. you will feel lost 80% of the time. The most memorable about this game is the boss fights, specifically the giant monster ones; those fights are very epic and creative. on the other hand the one on one boss fights not so much, some boss type are actually used multiple times with minor variations. The final boss is great; the difficulty is quite fair surprisingly for a final boss. You gonna feel great when you manage to defeat it. I manage to defeat it after trying for around 2 hours, and I have to use the switch pro controller haha. The ending is the usual Metroid ending, the story is not the main focus of the game. This is the end of the metroid and X saga I suppose. The replayability you can play from beginning with hard difficulty, or you can try to complete the item collection to 100%. For Item collection they actually give you all the hints and location, but some items are very tricky to get. You need to combine all the power ups that you have with precise timing. Honestly I haven’t manage to hit 100% yet, I will try to complete it in my free time. Overall this is a must play for switch owners the only downside it is quite short, I takes me only 10 hours of gameplay time to finish.

SPOILER FREE For those of you that are familiar with Japanese Manga or Anime/Movie this kind of story won't surprise you; Japanese already do this kind of genre long ago, remember battle royale? I can name more manga/movies with this kind of theme eg: real account, liar game, acma game, kakegurui, usogui etc. there is so many variations is actually kinda getting stale. the main premise is always players trapped playing life or death game with weird setup/games and there is always the mystery of why this game exist? who is the master mind? who is the traitor? But I will give it to the Koreans, they manage to make this kind of genre MAINSTREAM which is saying a lot. I can bet that only a hand of people will know the manga/anime that I mention before. But this movie people talk about it everywhere even in the workplace amazing. Korean manage to outdo the one they copied/take inspiration from. now when people remember/talk about this kind of movie they will mention Squid Game. So why this movie works? I think it is because of the human drama, they focused a lot on the characters: their struggle, their background, their motivation, the squid game is only supporting these character stories; to be honest the game is not very creative and interesting (compared to Japanese one). Only the first game is very memorable, the rest are standard fair. even the final game is also about the conflict between characters the detail of the game doesn't really matters at that point. The Japanese in contrast they focus too much on the games and rules; the characters sometimes get overshadowed, and it is also too complicated; I need to reread or rewatch a couple of times to really understand the game and the story. I give this series 4 stars out of 5 because of the ending, I think the character decisions in the end is very stupid, hypocritical and naive. and especially at the end the "cliffhanger" his/her decision is very very stupid. It shows that he/she still haven't got his/her priorities straight. I know you want continuity for the second season but come on just do another round with different set of characters. the ending is really forced and honestly I am not interested in that character anymore. but all that said if there is a season 2 (90% there will be; it is a huge success) I will definitely watch it. I recommend this movie only for those who can stomach movie violence (not real), It is gory and bloody but they don't focused on it too much don't worry, they keep it classy.

Marvel movies keep going downhill and it haven't hit rock bottom, that's the scariest thing. Next marvel movie I will just wait until it goes to Disney plus. This movie feels like it is being auto generated by AI; I watched it just yesterday but I already forgot almost everything.

Just read or watch the many YouTube videos about this con artists. Especially the interview with her, so you can see what a sociopath she is. This movie is a pluff piece for her, what a disgrace. The movie portrayed her in a much positive light than reality and depressingly she got 300k for this Netflix piece which she uses to pay for all the damages she conned. What's the moral here? It's okay to be like her? It's okay because she conned rich people? A crime is a crime, please don't make her as a modern times Robin Hood it's very disgusting. JUST WATCH the interview, she has no remorse, she doesn't think she is guilty at all. And finally the accent yes she has it but this movie makes it much worse somehow haha

They use a fanfic story from internet for the script. That's the only way to explain this mess. I can swallow the previous two movies, but I guess this is the end of the line for me. Bad script, bad dialogue, stupid plot, stupid enemies, so much fan service that makes you want to puke (we bring ALL the enemies and ALL the spiderman GREAT right? RIGHT??) cgi galore every single action is cgi, it's like I am watching the spiderman ps4 video game cutscene (the game have better story btw try it if you haven't and skip this movie), the tone is all over the place. Imagine in the final battle they stick some stupid slapstick humor then a couple minutes later they follow through with a brutal violent fight where spiderman really wants to KILL the enemy (with sharp objects to make it more brutal oohh boy). The sad thing is this movie already hit box office records so of course they will continue this abomination. This movie reminds me a lot of the transformers actually, so I think spiderman is the new transformers? Hooray????
