First two seasons were pretty interesting but the third took a pretty hard turn to the gutter. When netflix picked up series for the third season network regulations were no longer in place so the repetitive and gratuitous use of the the "f" word and such became the hallmark. In 2020 I'm worn out of partisan politics and season one and two displayed an Independent White House so the show didn't come off as partisan. Obviously with the hard left Netflix take over of the show the show took a hard turn left and tried to only slightly pretend that it was moderate. Hard to think the writers and actors sold out to their new bosses or maybe the Netflix brass simply gave them the freedom to do what they want. what Hollywood doesn't seem to grasp is they can make programs that sound like an echo chamber of their political belief system but to do so they end up alienating the other half of their target audience. If I was to make television or movies my goal would be to produce a product for consumption for all and to make as much money as possible. Any actor/producer etc that says they don't do their job with the intent to make money is disingenuous. Why make a product that would immediately turn off half of their audience? What does that result in? Well, it took Netflix one single season to kill a show.
