Feel this is a one season “wonder”. While being informative about the small insular community of Orthodox Jews in Monsey, you can only take so much of Julia Haart tooting her own horn….I truly feel badly for her new husband Silvio. Most women would kill to have a man want to spend time with them, but then again, he created the issue by installing her in the position of HIS company. It’s apparent that he married the wrong gal. Her kids are ok, but not enough to carry the show. I also find it a bit odd that Robert, being only 33, is in the position he holds within the company. I only say that because it takes years to develop relationships and networking in the fashion Industry. He too seems to be just another added distraction for Ms.Haart. Her platforms are way 70’s, but her revolving shoe closet is full of them….and yes I get she’s only 5’3”, but it’s just mind boggling that she has a current view on trends and what’s coming down the pipe line. I’m also curious as to how she landed on a romance novel name?! “Julia Haart”? All in all it was just another show about the wealthy 1% that really doesn’t contribute to anything other than the casts egos.
