Dumb, clichéd script, abysmal writing, and I can't believe Mel Gibson got involved in this mess. Amazon's movies are unfortunately commonly complete garbage... Wahlberg tries, but what can you do if the story is like a join the dots picture book...

Utter waste of Eddie Murphy and the likable Pete Davidson. Script dumbed down, clichéd storyline and as exciting as an empty box.

Oh dear... Anna Kendrick might be the worst actress in current circulation.... How could a sequel to be such a train wreck compared to the first reasonable movie. A Gen-Z- friendly script doesn't help... Abysmal.

Sadly, missing much of the emotional impact of the first movie, with the songs not of the same quality and the story lacking depth. Too much of the Disney virus has taken hold, that ultimately kills off story for a buck or billion...

Not quite Gladiator, but what can be after all these years? Yet this is excellent with a quality cast including the new lead, Paul Mescal, who brings a certain Russell Croweness to the role, appropriately. Denzel does what he does best, while other cast members are invariably solid. We can't jump back to the year 2000, but, with all the difficulties Scott no doubt faced in making a credible sequel, this is certainly worth a watch and is much better than the strange 2.8 average it's been awarded...

In so many ways, excellent, and in others, not so good... Quality leads, the basis of a good, albeit somewhat clichéd story, an emotive subject, and drama aplenty. But... pointless and over-long sex scenes, uneven dynamics between characters, and a strange, unsatisfying ending.

Russell Crowe always gives his best, but his best isn't good enough to redeem this messy, Gen-Z-friendly take on every exorcism movie made. Sadly fairly poor and scare free in the main.

A great comment about cancel culture and an indictment of the madness of the collective destructive power of sheeple. Nicolas Cage puts in another terrific performance in this tragi-comedy.

Great visuals, a good story, with a wonderful little kid in the central role. It will take time to consider this film fully, but it's certainly worth a watch or two. J.D. Washington is as solid as ever with an excellent supporting cast. It's an emotive and indeed thought-provoking movie about the relationship we have and may have with AI and what it means to be human and to be alive. Madeleine Yuna Voyles is the kid in question and is brilliant as Little Sim/Alphie. Make you own mind up, but for me.much better than the 3.7...

Why can't writers produce even one funny line anymore... Whoa... What a beige, boring, characterless, vapid mess of a movie... Is it to dumb it down for a new demographic..?
