Jung-ae Park

This is a cute heartwarming story. A cranky old guy wants to kill himself after his wife's death. His plan gets thwarted by his neighbours endless interruptions. The premiss is quite amusing. It does get boring in the middle since the story has to explain why Ove is the way he is. A lot about his younger days. I am not a sentimental type and this part bored me and almost quit the book. The story really grew on me towards the end. You can easily see the ending but it still warms your heart. I think that is an excellent storytelling.
