This movie is really just a amateur spin-off of The Intern starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro. The scenes and dialogues are all almost the same as The Intern. It isn't NEARLY enough, not even in the ball park, to be any bit as nice as The Intern.
Though Ananth Nag's character Shyam does SOME sort of justice to the original character Ben, Anne Hathaway's character Jules is COMPLETELY messed up. When Nancy Meyers wrote The Intern, Jules had a complex personality. Her struggle to maintain her relationship with her husband and her position as a CEO while having to meet everyone's expectations was something the viewer could empathize with. In this movie her hard work and passion for the job, her kindness with people is all removed. She's almost like a rich, rude brat in this film.
