This Netflix series is absolutely amazing! My family members all watched it and kept telling me to give it a try. I am a big zombie series person too so I decided to give it a try. The best decision I’ve ever made was watching this series! I also watch Korean dramas but have never heard anything like a zombie series, I was truly shocked when I heard about this. The first episode: I wasn’t so intrigued in the beginning to be honest. I decided to watch more just to see if there was anything interesting. Towards the middle of the first episode, I started to enjoy it. The storyline is absolutely amazing. It’s based off the Korean ancient times and that just intrigues me even more! Zombie series are cool enough I guess, but I’ve never heard anything about the past. In a zombie series, it’s always about the fiction version of the present, how it could happen at any moment. But in Kingdom, it brings up the point about how it could've already happened. How it could’ve been a hidden time in history nobody wanted to talk about. The point that kingdom brings this meaning is very interesting. The actors are amazing! They represent their roles well! They suit their outfits too! I love how they use old men to represent their congressmen because it makes sense that they’re old! The actors all look their age too! They didn’t just choose an actor for the role because they’re good looking, they chose them well! They looked at how old they should be to play their roles and jobs. The actors have such great emotions in their scenes. It brings suspense, joy, and sadness. Kingdom is different from other zombie tv shows. I won’t spoil but it is different. When you think of zombies, you always think of a very special vaccine that has to be made, or zombies that can run at anytime, but not Kingdom. There are so many twists to the zombies in this series that I just love! Overall, I really recommend this series. There are short seasons but that’s what makes it even better. It brings suspense and cliffhangers that will be able to pull us into the next season. Everything about Kingdom, I love!

I love this drama and it’s my 10th time watching it. Not even lying. The first time I watched it I thought “wow this is an up-tune drama!” But the more I got into it the more creepy it got. I still I found it interesting. The main character has a.. thing where he does it for the benefit. I love that creepy side of him. He’s great at acting too. His facial expressions are on point. The parts where he smiles and then stops automatically literally gives me chills. And the part that scares me even more, I didn’t even realize it was happening the first time I watched this drama. It took me the third time I watched this drama. But if you see all the happy up tune parts with the main girl, if you look closely, JUST VERY VERY closely, you can see that the main guy is stalking her from the background. Gives me absolute chills every time I mention it. It’s like it’s all up-tune and positive until you spot him stalking her from the background. The music or scene doesn’t even warn you. He’s just there watching everything all go down. The positive music and positive scenes with the... “love protagonist” and the main girl hides the fact that he’s there stalking her. I swear, you have to watch it and see it for yourself to understand what I’m talking about. ABSOLUTE CHILLS. The directing in this is on point. Whoever made those little secret scenes of him stalking are GENIUS. It gives off a waaaay more creepy vibe and I live for it! I’m just saying, to watch this drama, you have to pay very close attention to every and each detail. To the main people of the scenes and to the people behind them too. Each detail in the back matters in this drama and I love that about it.

I can tell you one thing... I cannot keep track of how many I cried watching this. I cried more watching this drama than any other. That’s how good it is. It’s not even good, ITS AMAZING. It’s so unique. Who comes up with a drama involved with North Korea?! It’s insane how good this drama is. I was a bit concerned of how the main girl was going to come to my liking at first, BUT BE OPEN MINDED. I came to like her. It only shows her... materialistic side in the beginning which made me dislike her a bit. But once she goes over the border, I FELL IN LOVE WITH HER. The main guy, I LOVE HIM. I immediately thought he was very attractive at first. But then I kept watching and as I kept watching, I kept picking out little flaws... BUT THEN HE SMILED and I KNEW he was a great actor for the role. He is amazing at keeping his facial expressions in the moment. He comes off so cold at first that once he starts to warm up it is very touching. I love the main soldiers around the main guy. They’re so funny and knowledgeable. The old one cracks me up. He just makes me giggle. He reminds me of myself. He says one thing and means the other. Telling people he doesn’t like them but inside he really does appreciate them. Okay, nobody mentions this guy in their reviews but... I will. THE RAT!!! I LOVE HIM. I know that he’s... well, ratted people out. But, he really does have a kind heart. I LOVE IT WHEN HE LISTENS IN!!! IT CRACKS ME UP. I love watching his little scenes. He doesn’t have many which makes me appreciate him even more. His storyline is absolutely different, and I love that about him. When he listens into people’s conversations I always crack up because he has the same exact reaction I do. Once the main characters both have a conflict, he’s the first to find out. All of a sudden I cry when the mains have a conflict then it cuts to his screen time just for me to find out he’s also crying while listening to their conversations. He also thinks of it as a drama. He cries, laughs, claps the same time I do and I find it so ironic. Oddly, I think this is my favorite character, I NEED MORE SCREEN TIME FOR HIM. His story line just really makes me want to cry. All characters have looks that DEFINITELY suit their roles. Whoever did the casting did an amazing job. I always thought girls or guys who played the roles of CEO’s were WAAAAY too young looking to play the role. Supposedly playing the role of a “30-35” year old guy or girl CEO, but looked waaay too young. But the girl who built her own company on here looked the part for it. She looked beautiful for her age and she looked the age too. I love the cast. Each one plays an important part.
